I’m Les Tannehill, and I’m running for Sheriff of Hinds County. I have lived in Hinds County all of my life, and have seen lots of changes – some good and some not so good.

Crime has taken a toll on Hinds County recently, but it doesn’t have to be that way. We can do better. The first step is a better leadership guiding the Hinds County Sheriff’s Office. Think about it. Without effective law enforcement, a community cannot thrive. And there is no doubt there has been a lack of good law enforcement leadership in Hinds County recently.
